Xelmu is your personal astrophotography journal, designed for amateur stargazers and night-sky photographers to capture, organize, and cherish their cosmic moments. This agreement outlines how you can use our app and what to expect from us.
No login or account creation is required to use Xelmu. You can start using the app immediately to log your astrophotography sessions, import photos, and organize your celestial archive—all without sharing personal information upfront.
Xelmu is free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app without our explicit permission.
All photos, technical settings, and environmental logs you add to Xelmu are yours. We do not claim ownership of your content. By using Xelmu, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store your content locally on your device and display it within the app for your personal use.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not violate copyright laws or the rights of others. Please only share photos and data that you own or have permission to use.
Xelmu provides tools to: import photos from your camera roll; record gear settings (camera, lens, ISO, shutter speed, aperture); log environmental conditions (location, weather, moon phase, seeing quality); browse your archive via filterable galleries; and compare exposures side-by-side.
We strive to keep Xelmu stable and functional, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free performance. We may update the app with new features or improvements from time to time.
Since no login is required, Xelmu does not collect or store your personal information (like name, email, or phone number) on our servers. All your data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export it or share it via email or other platforms.
We do not sell or share your content with third parties. If you contact us for support, we may collect your email address only to respond to your inquiry.
We may update this agreement occasionally. When we do, we will notify you via an in-app message or our website. Your continued use of Xelmu after the update means you accept the new terms.
